NICK WINSOR

Nick Winsor started racing competitively in 2019, competing in Time Attack and Sprints, in a Toyota Celica GT-Four.   He then joined up with Ben Jagger to race in the SEK Endurance Karting Championship under the team name JW Racing, and in 2021 in just their second year in the category, won the Sportman Class and came Runners-Up in the outright championship.

Since then Nick has stepped up to Production Cars racing in the Duke Racing 3E Specification Toyota 86 in the QLD Production Cars Championship, where he placed 2nd in the Class D championship in 2023 - his first year in the category - including a round win at Morgan Park.

In 2024 he partnered with Trent Laves for the enduro rounds, where they won the final enduro round at Morgan Park. Nick again placed 2nd in the Class D championship for the year and was runner-up in the outright championship.

Across the 2023, 2024 and 2025 QPC championships, he has featured on the class podium at every round.

Nick has also competed in the Toyota 86 with Replica Tourers at Lakeside Park Raceway, where he won the 86 Trophy by clean-sweeping the round in class.  He made his national competition debut at the Bathurst International, with Australian Production Cars in 2024.

In 2025, Nick teamed up with Champ Motorsports for the Bathurst 6 Hour, driving an HSV Astra VX-R with Steve McHugh and Tristan Ellery in Class C, however the car suffered a mechanical failure and was unable to finish the race.

Returning to the mountain in 2026, this time in the Duke Racing Toyota 86, Nick teamed up with Chris Whittaker and Brendan Whittaker, where they finished 2nd in Class D, just missing out on the win by 2 seconds.

Off track, Nick is a proud Dad of 3 boys and is an Industrial Controls Electrician, specialising in industrial automation and process control - experience which proves invaluble for setting up complex motorsport electronics packages from the likes of MoTeC.
